Degree Requirements and Rules The students studying in this Ph.D program are required:
to take a minimum of 7 courses with a minimum of 21 local credits
to pass the qualifying examination,
to prepare and defend a doctoral dissertation
to succeed in all the courses with a letter grade of at least CB/S
to have a Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 2.50/4.00 with a minimum of 240 ECTS credits.

Program Outcomes

1-Recognizing that components of the immune system to understand the mechanisms of immune response in case of cancer ocur
2-Identification of individual genetic risk factors and planning of treatment according to genetic characteristics of cancer cells
3-The cancer burden in our country and in the world that arise by determining the types and levels of information about cancer by gender
4-To acquire theoretical and practical information about basic techniques applied in immunology laboratory
5-The conventional treatment used in the fight against cancer current treatment methods that are applied in addition to have knowledge about
6-Understanding which antigens the cancer cells differ from normal tissue and how these antigens are recognized by the immune system
7-Have knowledge about important factors in the development of metastasis
8-Cancer cells that contribute to tumor formation as well as tumor micro-environment is located in cancer cells and non-cells and their functions to understand
9-The experiment is done by observing the most frequently used techniques in molecular biology laboratories to understand how these techniques and gain knowledge and skills
10-Unlike normal cells, how cancer cells proliferate and understand the metabolic changes that result from cancer
11-Transformation of normal cells into cancer cells and the mechanisms of this process is understanding the role in carcinogenesis of the normal cell cycle
