Degree EarnedA Master’s Degree is awarded to individuals upon successful completion of all graduate education requirements in Economics as determined by the Department of the Graduate School of Social Sciences.
Education TypePÇ-1 Alanının gerektirdiği düzeyde bilgisayar yazılımı ile birlikte bilişim ve iletişim teknolojilerini ileri düzeyde kullanır. PÇ-2 Bilgi, anlama ve problem çözme yeteneklerini kendi çalışma alanları ile ilgili olarak geniş (ya da disiplinler arası) bağlamlarda yeni veya yabancı ortamlarda uygulayabilir. PÇ-3 Bir yabancı dili kullanarak sözlü ve yazılı iletişim kurar. PÇ-4 Büyük ölçüde başkalarına bağlı olmaksızın veya özerk bir şekilde çalışmalarını sürdürmesini sağlayacak öğrenme becerilerine sahip olur. PÇ-5 Çalıştığı alana yönelik çeşitli grup çalışmaları yaparak yeni değerler sistemine ilişkin davranışlar geliştirir ve bunların uygulanmasında çevresini duyarlı hale getirir. PÇ-6 Demokratik süreçlere inanma, günlük yaşamda bilimin rolüne değer verme, başkalarının refahına önem verme ile bireysel ve kültürel farklılıklara duyarlılık gösterme gibi üst düzey bilinçlilik içerisinde olur PÇ-7 Gerek kamunun gerekse özel kesimin gereksinim duyduğu iktisat alanı ile kendisinin uzmanlık alanına yönelik üst düzey bilgi birikimine sahip eleman olur. PÇ-8 İktisat alanına ilişkin teori ve politikalar konusunda elde edilen bilgileri bir araya getirerek yeni modeller ve bakış açıları geliştirir. PÇ-9 İktisat alanındaki karar mekanizmalarını, politikaları ve sistemleri tanımlayarak bunları pratik anlamda karşılaştırmalı olarak analiz eder ve yorumlar. PÇ-10 İktisat alanının alt dallarına ilişkin kendi inançlarını, fikirlerini ve davranışlarını kapsayan bir değer sistemine sahip olur. PÇ-11 İktisat alanıyla ilişkili diğer bilim dallarını da kendisine araştırma konusu yapar ve yeni politika önerilerinde bulunur. PÇ-12 İleri mikro iktisat, ileri makro iktisat, para teori ve politikası, matematiksel iktisat, uluslar arası iktisat teori ve politikası gibi dersler alarak iktisat alanındaki bilgilerini ileriye taşıyabilir. PÇ-13 Matematiksel, istatistikî ve ekonometrik analiz araçlarını kullanarak iktisadi sorunları formüle edebilme ve geleceğe yönelik projeksiyonlar yapabilme becerisi kazanır. PÇ-14 Önemli bir araştırma sürecini bilimsel bütünlük içinde kurgulama, tasarlama, uygulama ve uyarlama yeteneğine sahip olduğunu gösterir. PÇ-15 Yenilik, yaratıcılık ve teknoloji kavramlarının dinamik küresel ekonomi içerisindeki rolünü sorgulayabilir.
Registration Acceptance Conditions(1) Candidates who apply for admission to a master programme should hold a valid bachelor’s degree. (2) The final admission score is determined as the total sum of %50 of interview score and %30 of the undergraduate GPA. The final admission score should be at least 65. The number of accepted students is decided prior to the admission and the successful applicants are shortlisted according to the scores starting with the highest ones.
Recognition of Prior LearningA student who has successfully completed at least one semester in a comparable master programme at another accredited institution is eligible as a lateral transfer. Lateral transfers are generally admitted after being evaluated on a case by case basis and upon the decision of the administration of the Department and the Graduate School.
Degree Requirements and Rules to take a minimum of 7 courses with a minimum of 21 local credits.

to prepare and defend a master's dissertation
to have a Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 2.00/4.00 with a minimum of 120 ECTS credits.

It all depends on your interests and skills and knowledge of subjects like econometrics, QT, and RM, etc. definitely will fetch a good job.
Access To Upper DegreeUpon successful completion of their master programme, the students are encouraged to embark on further academic studies on the graduate level (doctoral programme) on condition of having received the required score in ALES exam, possessing sufficient knowledge of English or another foreign language, and being successful in the entrance examination.

For a student to have successfully completed the master programme, the GPA should be at least 65.
